After a video of her rendition of Alicia Keys’ hit song ‘Girl on Fire’ went viral, the young Githurai girl by the name Gracious Amani is one to watch for.
The 13-year-old girl left netizens in awe and breathless after her strong vocals got the attention of many Kenyans.
Among those she impressed includes Brand, Strategy and Events director at State House, Big Ted who was searching for her and songstress Vivian who hit the studio with the teenager to record a song.
Vivian on the other hand lodged an online appeal asking her fans to help find her and once she did, she did not waste time putting her talent to good use.
‘’I am looking for this talented girl!! Anyone with links on her whereabouts kindly DM me asap!! I would love to talk to her.’’ The artist posted earlier.
‘’Finally got to meet Gracious Amani. Studio tonight with her. She is so talented,’’ Vivian posted.
Together with her manager cum fiancé Sam West, the couple found young Amani over the weekend and her dreams of recording have finally been realized after they hit the studio.
‘’They are recording a song together then they will shoot a video for the same. The girl has shown interest in music and Vivian is more than willing to mentor her through her musical career,’’ Sam West told a local publication further adding that he was in talks with her father to manage her musical career.
Other celebrities wishing to work with the young talented teenager include actor and model Pascal Tokodi among others.
