While most Kenyans over the past hour were glued to their TV sets watching billionaire businessman Jimi Wanjigi issue a presser, some had their eyes trained on someone else.
What fascinated them was the way Mr Wanjigi’s wife Irene Nzisa was at the forefront, toe to toe with her husband as he candidly narrated the siege that befell his home on Tuesday.
Nzisa, appearing for almost the first time in public, had had her eyes transfixed on her husband as he articulated what befell them for over 24 hours.
Photos of Nzisa holding Wanjigi’s hand and wrapping her arms around the billionaire has excited social media users who expressed their comments over the couple’s public display of affection.
Wanjigi was issuing a presser after his palatial home was raided by police who were seeking to arrest him over the discovery and seizure of firearms at a villa he allegedly owns in Malindi.
