It is frivolous, vexatious and wishful: Can’t lawyers just be simple? Kenyans react to Sen Mutula’s use of ‘legal terms’

Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo Jr took to his tweeter handle to bash the petition by Nyeri Town MP Wambugu Ngunjiri seeking the removal of Chief Justice, David Maraga from office.

In his tweet, the Senator who is a lawyer by profession, hits at Wambugu’s move terming it as nothing and only aimed at gaining public attention.

The tweet was, however, written in what ordinary Kenyans call; legal terminology.

I have read the petition by Hon Wambugu. It is frivolous, vexatious & wishful. It will achieve nothing more than courting public attention.

The tweet has since evoked reactions from Kenyans as they show their lack of understanding of the judicial vocabulary. Here are some of the hilarious reactions:
