Wedding bells: Stage set for Bahati and fiancée’s traditional wedding

Gospel artist Bahati and his fiancée Diana Marua
Gospel artist Bahati has been planning his wedding to fiancée, Diana Marua, for a while now. He had earlier hinted that he was waiting for the election period before going on with the wedding The traditional wedding will be at Diana Marua’s home in Siaya After the traditional wedding, the two lovebirds are planning to hold a church wedding in Nairobi before the year ends

Gospel star Bahati and his clan can finally travel to Luo land and present their case to his fiancée’s family, a traditional wedding that the two had put on hold because of unforeseen uncertainties during last week’s vote.

The singer and his hot flame Diana are at the same time gearing up for their Church wedding expected to take place in Nairobi before the end of the year.

Speaking to Pulse, Bahati said the traditional dowry negotiation ceremony is a family matter that he can hardly talk much about.

“Traditional wedding ceremonies are deep family affairs and I can’t talk much about that. I am not at liberty to. But once it happens, you will see and speak about it,” he said with a light tone.

Just like everyone else, the singer —who proposed to the beauty who acted in his Mapenzi video, before the two became an item— had been waiting for the political storm in the country to settle down before throwing the big day, a ceremony expected to be one of the most spectacular showbiz events in the country this year.

“The truth is that our families are aware that we want to get this done and that is the most important thing for now. However, there is no pressure. We are taking a step at time,” Bahati told Pulse.
