A bizarre footage shows a man wearing a Santa mask allegedly robbing a bank after handing out sweets to staff.
The man was caught on CCTV looking almost comical during the incident on Wednesday morning at the Memphis City Employee Credit Union, Memphis Police Department said on Facebook.
The masked man, whose face is completely obscured, hands out 'candy canes' to employees and customers before carrying out the alleged crime, KTLA5 reports.
Just to add insult to injury, he was even heard wishing customers merry Christmas before giving a bank teller a note demanding money, police allege.
After the money was handed over the man left the bank and reportedly fled on foot.
The alleged robber is described as black man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 10 or 11st.
As well as the Santa mask, he was wearing black trousers and black shoes.
No arrests have been made in the case.
