I first came to Nairobi in 2014. I was here as part of Waje Safe House initiative which is a platform that supports NGOs and charitable organisations.
Although my Kenya tour was cancelled, I still made time to hit the streets and give gifts to and spend time with children from low-income communities.
I also visited the national park where I adopted a crocodile and an elephant at the Nairobi National Park and named them Lagos.
Besides that, I really enjoyed Kenyan food, especially ggali with nyama choma.
I was also impressed to know that I can find Nigerian food here.
My most memorable experience was when I went to a shopping mall and bumped into a woman who recognised me. She started dancing to my music pointing at me.
She was speechless. We never got to take photos, but I don’t think I will ever forget her humbling love for me. She was genuine.
