The ever dapper 21-year-old Kevin Oduor Owiti, is Kenya's first Mr. Kenya representative to the world. If all goes well, the hunk will be bringing home the Mr. World title dubbed The World’s Most Desirable Man in a competition to be held today Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Southport, UK.
The Business Management student at the Catholic University, Nairobi, is one of only five Africans in this contest. He started his modelling career young where he earned his first title as Mr. Catholic University in 2014. Standing 178 cm with an athletic build, he loves to play all kinds of sports, from football to kickboxing, and he is a keen musician, particularly on the drums. Aside from business, he is keen on modelling, and hopes to make a name for himself internationally in the future.
“I am humbled to be representing my country at the world finals and I hope to bring the crown home. Since I took the national title, I have been preparing myself physically and mentally with the help of some mentors who have helped me become a better version of myself,” he says.
The soft spoken hunk is a great believer in peace and harmony pointing to Kofi Annan as his role model for being “an individual who took his time to bring about peace in Kenya between our leaders during the post-election violence”,
In his introduction video he says; “ I have a desire from within to give hope to the hopeless and to work tirelessly to devote all my time for humanitarian projects around the world”
The pageant seeks an all-rounded person with good looks, physical strength, charisma, charm, and a strong personality, and our man Kevin seems to have it all and then some.
As world searches for the most desirable man, he has desire from the inside, which is much more to offer than mere physical looks. But that does not mean we cannot ogle at God's wonderful creation. We sure do wish him the best of luck.
