Startimes is said to have paid Churchill Show popular comedian Professor Hamo an amount said to be more than Sh10 million to be their ambassador for a whole year.
According to a source close to the comedian and privy to the contract, the deal had been months in the making and it was just recently, signed.
“He is set to appear in billboards, roadshows and TV ads. It will earn him more than Sh10 million. It has been finalised in the last few weeks and he is excited to be part of Startimes,” said the source, of the pay TV endorsement, which is part of Star Times Media. Professor Hamo’s star has been rising in the past few months, with his segment one of the most watched in Churchill Show.
