Robin Thicke has denied he is engaged to his girlfriend April Love Geary.

The Blurred Lines singer, 38, has been dating model April, 20, for around nine months, following his split from ex-wife Paula Patton.

Reports in the US claimed the crooner has already popped the question to his stunning new lady - just five months after his divorce from Paula was finalised.

The pair are regularly seen out and about together and aren't shy about packing on the PDA.

But Robin has denied reports the couple are set to tie the knot - and in doing so he couldn't help but throw in a little plug for his new song.

Robin wrote on Twitter: "Not engaged, but I do propose that you check out my new track with my girl @NickiMinaj."

A source told Life and Style Weekly: "Both his parents have told him to take some time and not rush into marriage again so soon."

The singer's ex-wife Paula, who he divorced in March, said she feels "like a real woman" since her split from the star.

In June last year Robin released an album called 'Paula'.

The pair met as teenagers and were married for nearly nine years, and share a four-year-old son called Julian.

Actress Paula said during an appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show: "You know I’m doing really well. It’s been a long year and a lot of challenges but I've grown quite a bit and just getting used to change.

“I live in a place of gratitude and growing up in many ways I think, I moved from my parents’ house to moving in with Robin, and now I’m like becoming an adult at this old age. I’m really like a real woman now."
