After throwing a Sh2.5 million wedding party, Phoenix Records CEO, Brian Okemo, and his rapper bride Sugar, are said to have jetted off to a secret location for their honeymoon.
Apparently, the destination is so secret that even close friends like rapper Abbas have no clue.
“I wasn’t even around for the wedding as I was held up by other issues and so Brian and I did not have time to talk about such details,” the rapper told Heads Up.
There were even speculation that the newlyweds, who had dated for five years before tying the knot, could have jetted to Asia.
However, reliable sources indicate that the lovebirds could be nestled closer home at the Masai Mara. And why not, it’s the wildebeest migration season after all.
Our journey following this couple’s romance began when Brian proposed with a white gold ring with diamonds said to have cost Sh192,000.
This led to their black, white and red themed wedding, which are Phoenix Records’ corporate colours. Brian, who met Sugar during Abbas’ wedding, held theirs at the same venue, Mamba Village, in Karen.
The guest list included Busia Senator Amos Wako, former Speaker Kenneth Marende, Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba, rappers Bamboo and Khaligraph Rn’B sensations Victoria Kimani and Avril.
