Lupita Nyong'o was in the mother land recently to attend her sister’s wedding which was a low key event that went down without the knowledge of many.
After the event it was alleged she had gone to South Africa to continue the shoot of a movie, The Queen of Katwe, in which she will be playing a major role.
She took time off to attend a comedy night out on Friday last week in Johannesburg, where the new ‘Daily show’ host Trevor Noah was performing.
Trevor must have been impressed to have the Oscar winning actress in his audience and took to twitter to show some love for the lady that “made his night.”
“I was already having a great time performing in Johannesburg and then @Lupita_Nyongo dropped in and made my night.”
