Star Wars: The Force Awakens release is getting closer by the day and Vanity Fair have revealed the characters Lupita Nyong'o and Adam Driver will play.
In behind the scenes footage of the magazine cover shoot, Adam Driver, who fans worked out would be playing Kylo Ren, is seen sans mask.
The video clip confirms the Girls actor will play the hooded villain who wields a three-pronged cross guard lightsaber that was seen in the first trailer.
Oscar winner Lupita is seen in a full motion-capture suit, with tiny lights dotted all over her face to film her CGI performance as pirate Maz Kanata.
Lupita first announced she had joined the Star Wars cast posting the logo on Instagram “loud and proud”.
The 12 Years A Slave actress joins Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie as well as Adam Driver.
Other big names include British actor John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Lord of the Rings actor Andy Serkis.
Of the original cast Mark Hamill returns as Luke Skywalker, Fisher as Princess Leia, Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Brits Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Kenny baker as R2-D2 and Anthony Daniels as C-3PO.
Harrison Ford is also pictured on the Vanity Fair cover alongside John Boyega, Daisy Bridge, BB-8 and Chewbacca.
