Today, Mombasa showbiz icon Hassan Faisal aka ‘Mr President’ walks down the aisle with his love Amina in a two-day ceremony expected to feature top musicians and political heavyweights.
And in a generous gesture, ‘Mr President’ told Pulse that philanthropic singer Jaguar had given him a Sh200,000 donation to top up the Sh3 million wedding budget.
The ceremony kicks off this morning with celebratory events organised to take place over the weekend at Sarova Whitesands, Prime Comfort and Milele Beach hotels.
The invites-only affair will feature top politicians among them Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, musicians Nyota Ndogo, Ali B, Kingsting and Susumila.
Meanwhile, Pulse has learned that Jaguar has gone back to school. The singer is currently at Mount Kenya Univeristy taking a degree programme.
“Yes, I am in school,” he said.
