All the logistics for hosting the current Miss World crown holder Rolene Strauss from South Africa have been finalised ahead of next month's visit.
Under Terry Mungai, the Miss World Kenya team says it is ready to host the beauty queen and her high-profile delegation that features other finalists from the December Miss World finals in London.
The team lands in Nairobi on April 9.
Terry Mungai the CEO of Ashleys Kenya, the firm that holds the Miss World Kenyan franchise, said the Miss World team picked Kenya as one of the countries they want to visit as they carry out their Beauty With A Purpose duties.
"We are excited about the good news. The visit is a good thing for us, the Miss World Kenya team, which has been very active this year ensuring our Smile Train activities are achieved," she said.
During the visit, the reigning Miss World Kenya, Idah Nguma, who emerged among the top ten during the Miss World contest, will be awarded for the categories she performed well in during the international fete.
Currently, Idah is working with Smile Train, an international children's' charity that provides free cleft lip and palate repair.
