Whitney Houston’s daughter remains on life support but is “doing good”.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt has revealed that her niece is “opening her eyes” and is “doing well” despite remaining on life support after being found unconscious in a bath tub over a week ago.

Leolah Brown, who is Bobby Brown’s sister, has revealed that the 21-year-old has been showing signs that “she will be ok”, on the third anniversary of Bobbi Kristina’s mother Whitney Houston’s death.

In an interview with Fox, Leolah brushed off claims that doctors had been preparing the family for the worst.

“So many signs that she will be ok, despite what people are saying over the internet, Krissy is fine."

She also added: “She’s opening her eyes and there’s a few more things that she’s doing. Krissy is doing well right now.”

A criminal investigation is currently being conducted by the Roswell police department, but no one has been charged in relation to the incident or named as a suspect.

“I saw this coming. I told her not to trust anyone,” Leolah told Fox 5 Atlanta.

Bobbi Kristina’s aunt went on to slam Bobbi Kristina's relationship with Nick Gordon, insisting that it had not been good for her niece.

“I have my reasons,” she stated, before adding: “There are a lot of family reasons that have that same reason.”

Rubbishing reports that Bobbi Kristina could have harmed herself ahead, Leolah was adamant that this was not the case.

“Krissi would never do anything to herself. She loved life too much. She had too much going on. She had too much ahead of her,” she said.

Earlier today it was reported that Bobbi Kristina's family have been forced to deny she had been taking heroin and cocaine in the weeks before she was found unconscious in a bath.

A friend of Whitney Houston's daughter, who is clinging to life while in a medically induced coma, alleged she was spending hundreds of dollars a week on the class A drugs to satisfy her needs.

Police in Atalanta confirmed they have launched a criminal investigation in to what left the 21-year-old submerged for up to 18 minutes in a foot of water at her home on Roswell, Georgia two weeks ago.

The friend, who went to school with Bobbi and has remained close, said he was worried about her alleged drug use.

He said: “Whether heroin or crack or other drugs played a role in what happened to her will be determined but I know how bad off she was in the months before this happened.”

The pal went on to say Bobbi, Whitney’s only child, began taking drugs following her mother’s death three years ago.

Speaking to the National Enquirer he added: “She told me her mother’s death ‘gutted her’."

He claimed drugs as well as ammunition were kept in a secret compartment hidden in a wall.

Before being admitted to hospital Bobbi had been pictured several times appearing to be taking drugs.

However a lawyer for the Brown family has denied she was using narcotics.

Police are investigating how Bobbi was left with marks around her mouth and on her chest when paramedics arrived at her home.

Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, claims she sustained the bruising as he performed CPR after he along with his friend, Max Lomas, discovered her in the bath unconscious.

Investigators are pursuing several lines of enquiry after they reportedly discovered drugs at her home during a second search of the property.

Gordon, 25, is to be questioned by cops about his knowledge of what happened.

Officers have spoke to local business owners close to Bobbi’s home asking whether they say anyone running away from the area on the Saturday morning she was found prior to the police arriving at the scene.

The couple are said to have had a volatile relationship with police being called to a domestic dispute in recent weeks.

Speaking on the third anniversary of Whitney’s death Bobbi’s aunt Leolah said the family were still “hopeful” for her niece’s health.

She said: “It’s been very, very painful for everybody. Mainly Bobby, because that’s his baby.”

She is the sister of R&B singer Bobby Brown, Bobbi’s father.

Leolah also said she “didn’t know Nick,” despite the fact that she lived for a time with Whitney and Bobby when their daughter was little and there have been reports that he was like an adopted son.

“I never saw Nick.” She adds that they are “not married.”

Gordon has so far refused to addressed any reports.

Leolah also dismissed claims there was tension between the Browns and the Houstons.

She added: “There’s no tension between Browns and Houstons. Everybody’s trying to stay strong and deal with this.”

Whitney was found dead when she accidentally drowned in a bath at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel in February 2012.
