The code of a smart party girl

News

They say party girls just wanna have fun. Contrary to what many think, girls on a girls' night out club party are not always up to something cynical. It is funny when stalkers and creepy perverts (I'm talking about those weird men) start chasing them all over the dance floor every time they shake some booty. I mean, what makes men think women need their company or even their free drink offers? Besides, like Avril and Marya put it; "haujui napenda machali ama madame..." Men are sometimes just so annoying! Anyway, the thing is, a girl is mostly judged by her dignity at end of the day; whether she was just having plenty of fun or just lost in the club craze. You don't have to be 'ratchet' to carry the day and just in case you did not know, there are some basic rules you should remember if you have to enjoy a great night out. The first golden rule for a girl on a night out is confidence. Well, you don't have to be a Vera Sidika to pull this one. Every time you are going out, groom yourself well, dress the part without degrading yourself and posing like you are trying too hard to impress. Whatever you wear must make you feel comfortable when you are dancing. In simple words, wear clothes that will move when you move. The next move you make is to ensure you have the right crowd with you. Some fellows, even some friends who might be trusted friends, are not necessarily ideal for a night out. Then there are those who will end up ruining your reputation as they always get involved in fights. Plan on where to meet and group up before heading to the designate party venue. Never be that fellow who arrives first, it is not an office meeting. Hit the club in style. If possible arrange for reserved space and once you get there, don't behave like that 18-year-old mesmerised and puzzled by others. Relax, order for a drink and check the environment before starting to rock the dance floor. Whatever the case, don't be that girl who screams from end-to-end like a mad woman, or the girl who keeps on her phone the entire night leaving her friends disconnected from her. It is good to take a little bite and keep fresh with an energy drink. Don't just booze like a villager. If you are not a good dancer, or do not know the latest dance move in town, please sit back and watch others first before joining in. As much as possible, avoid the bad boys and don't get intimate with strangers simply because they are hitting on you. Don't even give them your phone number. That is a NO, never! And when you feel like you and your girls have had enough leave together because party girls always party smart. You did not come here to look for a boyfriend; it was a girls' out.
