In his latest video, Kichinjio, hip-hop rapper Rabbit does not mince his words as he comes out fighting, dissing his hatters in craftily weaved lyrics that showcase the poetic skills the star is known to possess.
Directed by Thome and produced by Angel Pacho, the mono scene in the video is simple yet good enough for the just about four-minute video.
The video utilises a black and white theme with succinct time remapping transitions, flickering images that successfully break the monotony associated with other hip-hop videos.
His lyrical prowess delivers his intended message, and it is for this reason that the video director opts for fewer scenes as the message is intended to be direct and to the point, hence the simplicity of the video.
However, despite the mastering and editing of the video being well done, the focus is on his hard-core lyrics and that is all the video offers. This is not the best we have seen from Kaka Sungura. Much more could have been done.
