Sometimes he has been left embarrassed when his clothes reveal much more than he anticipated.
John Nyagarama
Minus his security, Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama appears like he’s off to catch Nyamira Express at the Machakos Country Bus for his plain dressing in oversize coats and plain T-shirts dominating his simplistic wardrobe.
Josphat Nanok
Looks better in traditional regalia than suits in hues not found on the colour wheel. Turkana County Governor Josphat Nanok is a master of underwhelming dressing in plain pants paired with patterned shirt appropriate for struggling interns at his office.
He has also been spotted in mismatched patterns and where does he buy his earth coloured coats?
David Ole Sankok
Mostly dresses in patriotic colours heavily borrowed from Kanu and the national flag. Nominated MP David Ole Sankok’s style is more appropriate for Madaraka, Mashujaa and Jamhuri Day events than the daily grind of bumpless similarity in red, black, white and green, which though creative at times don’t ooze elegance. He should try something new and notice the difference.
George Theuri
He has potential to dress if his campaign posters were anything to go by, but Embakasi West MP George Theuri is plain lazy. When President Uhuru Kenyatta hosted Jubilee’s elected leaders from Nairobi County at State House, Theuri stood out for his unorthodox dressing. While the other leaders went for a smart, casual look, he wore blue jeans and flip flops!
Gladys Wanga
She inhabits a no-fashion zone. Homa Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga sports curly weaves but manicure and pedicure with a little make-up would do wonders. She should also embrace more tailored clothes and avoid her oversized dresses. Ditch the rugged look and embrace more clean and stylish looks.
Beatrice Kones
She needs a fashion makeover. The MP for Bomet East sports in her mermaid kitenges, plains jewelry and on special occasions she dresses in Kenyan flag lesos. She should try more official power suits and once in a while, make-up.
