Human rights activist Brian Weke threw a mega party for his wife’s family on Saturday.
Accompanied by politicians from Nairobi and western Kenya, the Institution for Education in Democracy CEO, for a moment, brought some busy streets in the town to a standstill, as his entourage made its way to the event’s venue, at the lady’s home.
The day ended well for the activist, as he officially got a nod to wed Juliana, his sweetheart of seven years.
“This is such a big honour. I have been looking forward to this day and I thank God that it has happened at long last,” Brian said as he gave a vote of thanks.
The party moved from his in-laws’ residence to Club 7D in Nakuru, with plenty of song, dance and drinks going till early hours of yesterday.
Many local artistes, including Jalang’o and actor Daniel Weke, entertained the crowds.
A number of former beauty queens also graced the occasion.
