Recall President Yoweri Museveni’s 2010 'Yes Ssebo' rap song, a campaign hit that he used to woo young voters to rally behind him for a new presidential term? Well, after hosting a number of Ugandan musicians for a dinner date in State House last month, Museveni has shown off his rapping prowess once again by releasing another rap. A hilarious Afro-beat fussed track that features female soloists in the interlude.
“I don’t know if you can play this for the young people,” he jokes as he introduces the song in which he raps in a local Ugandan dialect.
The track has been recorded by renown music producer Washington who was also responsible for the “Yes Ssebo” release. Ssebo is a common nickname for the president in Uganda.
The track was released over the weekend.
