Currently I am a student at Daystar University Athi River pursuing a double major: Communication in Public relations and International Relations. At Daystar University I host a Swahili radio show [email protected] and am also a radio producer for my show and Swahili news.

Achievements

I’m an upcoming gospel artiste with one hit worship song-Msaada Wangu Best radio presenter in the media week inter university forum 2014 I have a diploma in mass communication-Mombasa Aviation Institute. Acquired certificate for Professional public speaking-East African School of Public speaking. 2012 worked as a marketing director at Chekadime Enterprise Company. 2010 acquired a certificate in life skills as the best student.

Family

I am the only child in my family that resides in Mombasa. My loving dad Mr Patrick Mwaka is skilled in agriculture and agro processing but currently doing a small business as a shopkeeper in Mnarani-Kilifi.

My sweet mum is a professional teacher also a practicing counselor who is gifted and skilled in dealing with children and currently works with an organization dealing with destitute children and managing a vocational center for needy girls-Mama Lorenza Vocational centre-Ukunda.

My parents are my greatest supporters at the presenter season 2.

Personal Interests

I love listening and singing Gospel music I enjoy cooking and designing outfits I love reading and doing motivational talks. I love journalistic activities. I am a prayerful lady who believes that it is only God who comes first in her life.

Life Philosophies

I’m the type of woman who cares not about the storms I encounter in life but whether I bring the ship back home. Discouragements never define me; I am a fighter.

Nothing can beat persistence and determination. For any man or woman who rides from the wave of crest begins from scratch.

Life is an adventure to me. I love having fun and learning new things.

When it comes to love and relationships....I strongly believe that true love loves in spite of and not despite of. Love someone for who they are not what they have.

I LOVE THE MIRROR...hehe that had to be in caps. This is because I totally appreciate myself.

I love photoshoots a lot...and I’m multicolored though pink color happens to be my house color deco.

I LOVE KISWAHILI LANGUAGE...I’m looking forward to be a swahili ambassador.

Embarrassing Moment

Recently with my fellow contestants we were crossing the zebra road in town and I fell down! Totally flat..hahaha this embarrassed me because guys in town stood to all look at me..

When I failed in my K.C.S.E out of being sick this killed my spirit

Best Moments

When I joined the presenter academy this has always been my dream. When I won the best radio presenter in a media week competition among other university students last year. When I joined Daystar University it has always been my dream university. When I produced my first video song-Msaada Wangu.

Dislikes

I hate laziness...I’m an active woman{mgagaa na upwa hali wali mkavu} I hate judgmental people...we aren’t perfect in the eyes of God so we shouldn’t judge. I hate lies I hate alcohol or smoking.
