Beef kebabs are a delicious and easy-to-prepare meal that can be cooked on the barbecue or in the oven. Here's how you can do it at home:

Ingredients:

- 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

- 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch chunks

- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Method:

Preheat your barbecue or oven to medium heat. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Thread the beef, onion and pepper pieces onto the skewers, alternating the ingredients. Brush the skewers with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat all sides.

Place the kebabs on the barbecue or a baking tray in the oven. Grill or bake for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

Remove the skewers from the barbecue or oven and leave to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Tips:

- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before threading the ingredients onto them. This will prevent them from burning on the barbecue or in the oven.

- You can also marinate the beef in the olive oil mixture for a few hours before skewering for extra flavour.

- Feel free to add other vegetables to the skewers, such as mushrooms or cherry tomatoes, for extra flavour and nutrition.

Enjoy!
