During the 2016 presidential campaigns in America, the New York Post published decades old nude photos of Melania Trump, wife of US President Donald Trump.
The photos appeared in the January 1996 issue of Max magazine when Melania was 25. The raciest of the photos showed the model lying nude in a bed.
Donald Trump didn't mind that the pictures were out there, telling the Post that Melania has had a very successful career. His campaign spokesman Jason Miller told CNN, "They're a celebration of the human body as art, and there's nothing to be embarrassed about with the photos," adding, "She's a beautiful woman."
It was not just Melania who had posed before her future hubby became president, as before her was Carla Bruni, wife of former French president Nicholas Sarkozy.
The singer and songwriter said her nudes were hotter than Melania’s.
"It was very different because I had quite a bit of fame from my modelling and my first album so when I married Sarkozy, they went rahhhh. They just went crazy," she said.
"They were more artistic nudes made by great photographers," she added.
