A woman was arraigned in court for allegedly burning another woman’s breasts after they fought over a man.
The accused, Rose Ambito, reportedly attacked Janet Kemunto on February 15 in Ruaraka area.
According to police records, Ambito was in her house cooking dinner at around 7pm when Kemunto stormed in demanding to know why she (Ambito) was flirting with her hubby.
It is alleged Ambito tried to calm her down but Kemunto grabbed a sufuria with hot water and scalded her breasts and part of her face.
Kemunto was rushed to hospital for treatment. Ambito denied the charges and was set free on a Sh100,000 bond or Sh40,000 cash bail.
Her trial begins on August 22, 2016.
