A man who was arrested for being in possession of bhang tickled the court after confessing he needed the drug to help him ‘concentrate’ at work.
Peter Kuria, 42, was arrested on March 19 at Obama with two and half rolls of weed valued at Sh100.
The court heard that police got a tip-off from residents that Kuria, a grave digger, was a bhang peddler and laid a trap to arrest him.
They raided his house and found the bhang hidden under his bed.
Kuria will spend nine months in prison pending hearing of his case.
