A South Sudanese man facing defilement charges at a Nairobi court allegedly inserted his manhood in a five-year-old girl’s  mouth after defiling her for more than 10 minutes.

Makoy Madhak Deer, 30, now free on a Sh1 million bond and two sureties of similar amounts, allegedly defiled the minor on March 3 at Nyayo estate in Embakasi, Nairobi.

The accused, who is in a month’s visit to the country, risks the death sentence if found guilty.

The prosecution report indicates that the girl was playing with her friends outside their house when the accused beckoned her.

Madhak, a  father of one, reportedly led the girl behind the building of their house and ordered her to remove her clothes, one of the neighbours told police.

Police said he inserted his  penis in the minor’s mouth, which caused her to vomit. He then allegedly asked the girl to bend and defiled her, leaving her crying in pain. It is her screams that reportedly attracted neighbours.

The matter was later reported to the police and the accused was arrested.

Madhak has denied the charges. The prosecution requested the court to deny the accused bond  because he was a foreigner who was in the country on a visitor’s visa and was therefore a flight risk.

The magistrate however dismissed the application.

He ordered the accused to deposit his passport and any other traveling documents before court.

Hearing of this case is set for March 31.
