A middle-aged man shocked residents of Bomet town after he was busted feasting on a carcass of a dog.
Claiming he was hungry after failing to get food for more than three days, the man known for doing menial Jobs within Bomet town said he had resorted to eating the dead mongrel to quell hunger pangs.
The man, only identified as Boiyo, had been secretly munching the carcass from a gunny bag before curious boda boda operators decided to check on him.
“He looked restless and kept looking over his shoulders, forcing us to check what he was up to. We were surprised to find him feasting on a dead dog,” said John Koech one of the boda boda riders.
The man caused drama after he attempted to resist a move by the riders to stop him, claiming what he eats is no one’s business.
“It is wrong for such a normal person to behave in such a manner. Hunger is only an excuse for him but should be investigated further,” said another rider, before a small fund raiser was done to buy him food.
