Irony of fake women searching for real man

Counties

There was a time when a woman simply thanked God for the kind of body she had, because there was nothing she could do about it.

The situation forced women to be contented, and they developed confidence in themselves. And even not-so easy-on-the-eye women, with facial features that could make a beauty pageant’s judges cringe in disgust, were proud of their looks.

Simply put, there was a time when a woman who, for instance, had a bad dental formula, a humongous nose, among other features considered unattractive by men, would confidently strut around like a peacock without a care in the world.

exuded confidence

And when a man approached her, she still exuded confidence and had guts to tell off picky ones, urging them to take her the way she looked or leave her alone.

And you know what, such  (so-called ugly) women always ended up with some of the most handsome, caring husbands around, while those considered beautiful always nursed heartbreak after heartbreak after being used and dumped.

But ladies and gentlemen, things seem to have since changed. Believe me, if a research was to be conducted, I can bet my last shirt that it is only a very small percentage of women who are comfortable in their skin.

skin lightening

Majority when they are not seeking skin-lightening creams, they are undergoing plastic surgery to reduce or increase this or that part of their body.

Take for instance the most talked about socialite, whom I don’t think is even worth a mention in this column. When the poor young thing first stepped on the scene, she had a fantastic natural darker complexion with a booty to boot, which made men drool and women envious.

But just when everyone thought she was going to be contented with what God gave her, she pulled a fast one by literally ‘bleaching’ herself. And just when you thought the madness would stop there, she took the it a notch higher by going for breast implants, which she announced to the whole world via social media.

If you ask me, the poor young woman is a classic example of how women are no longer satisfied the way they were created. Some women will risk their lives in search of beauty.

Crazy tales have been told of those, especially abroad, who now go for surgery to ‘beautify’ their birth canals (to what they call a “designer- V”) by increasing or reducing the size of this or that skin around the said body part.

Question is, is there any real Kenyan man who would comfortably settle down with a woman who has undergone these kinds of surgery? Nyet! Methinks men like ‘real’ women.

Look, ladies, you might get attention from men for a while, but when time to settle down comes, no man wants to marry a woman who is fake from head to toe.

Isn’t it amazing how women with fake boobs, backsides, hair, nails and the whole shebang always look for real men?
