Pulse: How do you describe your style?
Biko: My style is relaxed. I, however, switch things up depending on how I feel and the occasion.
P: What inspires your style?
B: The weather, comfort and my favourite colours are my key inspirations.
P: To what extent are you fashion conscious?
B: I follow some trends, but I like to have my own look. I do not, however, lose sleep over what to wear.
P: What is the most weird fashion trend you have ever rocked?
B: A large shirt with lots of the ‘Big Five’ animals printed on it, which I had to wear at the Commonwealth Games.
P: What is fashion to you?
B: Fashion is an expression of one self, as it is based on what you find interesting.
P: What is the most expensive fashion piece in your closet?
B: My Jordans, which have also become part of my collectables.
P: What is your favourite fashion piece in your closet?
B: I do not favour any.
P: Which women’s fashion trend do you admire most?
B: The high-low dress trend.
P: Which fashion trend would you never wear?
B: Skinny jeans. I am not into that tight fit..
P: What do you look for when trying on new clothes?
B: The brand, colour, size and fit.
P: What would be your ultimate ‘chill out’ look?
B: A pair of jeans, a fitting T-shirt and Converse shoes.
P: Your fashion motto is . . .
B: Be comfortable... Feel good, look good, dress good.
P: Where do you shop mostly?
B: Abroad, when I am on tour.
P: Which fashion designer inspires you and why?
B: I am not particular with designers, as I go with what appeals to me.
P: What would you expect of your date in terms of dressing?
B: Trendy heels, an exquisite scent, and great-looking hair.
P: Which men’s fashion trend would you wish away?
B: Guys wearing exaggerated jewellery to the point that it seems like the bling is wearing the person.
