Hostel boys at Kenyatta University got a dressing down after filth was discovered in a common dustbin.
Apparently, a student had turned the Kilimambogo Hostel bin into a toilet.
Campus Vibe correspondent said the residents have received stern warning from their representative over the dwindling standards of hygiene at the hostel in the past month.
On February 5, Kilimambogo cleaners woke up to a rude shock when they discovered that a student had emptied his bowels into the dustbin.
The identity of the student was not immediately known and Campus Vibe could not confirm if he was drunk at the time.
The hostel’s congressman Felix Mochache, wrote a memo to students warning that some students may be kicked out of the hostel over poor hygiene.
