A student from Strathmore University was shot and seriously wounded by robbers near Madaraka estate.
According to police, the student tried to resist the robbers prompting them to shoot him before fleeing.
Some Strathmore students, who spoke to The Nairobian, said that such incidences were on the rise in the area. They said that robbers mostly target laptops, phones and other valuables from students from the institution.
