Kenyan representing Africa in world barrister competition

Another great Kenyan is putting our country on the map for his exceptional skills when it comes to coffee matters. Art Café which has in the past received negative publicity for discrimination allegations will have its saving grace from head barrister Martin Shabaya.

The African barrister champion who won the continental competition early this year in February will be representing the region in Dublin Ireland for the World Barista Championship.

Shabaya will be expected to prepare 4 espressos, 4 cappuccinos and 4 original signature drinks to exacting standards in a 15-minute performance set to music. Not his first international competition, he will battle it out with 50 other contestants in the 4-day competition that takes place between 22nd to 25th of this month before jetting back to the country.
