Wedding bells are ringing for award-winning Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known by his stage name Davido and girlfriend Chioma Avril Rowland.
Families of the two lovebirds a few days ago met and held an introduction ceremony to kick start Davido and Chioma's wedding preparations.
The singer met Chioma five years ago at Babcock University where he was pursuing music while she studied Economics but later dropped out to pursue her passion, cooking.
The two recently reconnected, and, despite Davido having two baby mamas, the two were able to rekindle their love and are now one of the most envied celebrity couples in Africa.
During one of her birthdays, the singer gifted Chioma a brand new car with a number plate tagged Assurance. A song he exclusively dedicated to the love of his life, Chioma.

However, a few months ago, social media was awash with reports the two had called it quits with Chioma deleting her Instagram account as a result.
Responding to this, Davido explained that they were still together and that Chioma’s decision to delete her Instagram account was so that she could concentrate on her cooking career.
To assure his fans that he still had the love of his life by his side, Davido dragged Chiomi to the stage during one of his shows and performed their love song Assurance together.
Davido then took to twitter to threaten all publications that took up the story that they had broken up.
