Quite a memorable brand thanks to the emotions it inspires, plus the catchy soundtracks attached to it, Coca Cola has for a long time mastered the art of the party!  From the house parties to the mainstream turn ups, you are bound to hear someone asking for a coca cola.

This time round, they decided to do things differently at the unveiling of their “Taste the feeling” campaign when they announced that East Africa would finally have a tune that would uniquely resonate with them!

This being a grand deal that many top acts would love to bag, the big question was who would represent the East African region? After extensive profiling, Diamond was chosen to create a Swahili version of the “Taste the feeling” soundtrack which has a fresh twist to it.

“Coca-Cola Company has always been a friend to Africa as a continent, and it is for this reason that we celebrate some of our renowned African artists as we bring taste the feeling campaign to life. Fally Ipupa from Democratic Republic of Congo, and Diamond from Tanzania will be featured in the anthem for Francophone and Swahili.”

Finally, Coca Cola lovers and East Africans at large will be able to see and hear a tune they can relate with and sing along to during the advertisements as Diamond’s star keeps shinning all across East Africa and the world.
