Governor Amason Kingi has accused the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) firms of exploiting their staff.
Mr Kingi, who spoke in Kikambala on Tuesday when he met 500 EPZ workers, promised to improve their conditions if NASA wins the coming elections.
He told the workers the tough times the country was facing was the making of the Jubilee administration.
"Government's thirst for international loans has driven the national debt to Sh6.6 trillion and that is what is hurting Kenyans," said the governor on Tuesday
