The NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga is on Teusday due to tour the opposition stronghold of Kibra in Nairobi County.
Mr Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka are expected to lead a massive roadshow through major roads and market centres within Kibra Constituency,then into hosting a mammoth rally at Joseph Kang'ethe Grounds in Woodley estate.
He is expected to be accompanied by Nairobi County leadership led by Dr.Evans Kidero the incumbent governor and Senatorial seat aspirant, Edwin Sifuna and other aspirants.
For Raila, with just over two weeks to the defining polls, the Kibra tour constitutes an emotional homecoming to the constituency he represented in parliament for twenty years up to 2012 before the advent of the new Constitutional order which barred presidential candidates from running for any other elective seat.
The tentative itinerary for the roadshow is as follows:
Highrise Estate - Langata
Silanga Village - Laini Saba Ward.
Lindi Village Darajani - Makina
Karanja Road - Makina
Fort Jesus Estate - Sarangombe.
Woodley Stadium - Woodley Ward (Main rally)
Kibra Constituency is seen as the opposition stronghold as he represented the constituency for over 15 years in the National Assembly as a Member of Parliament.
