No love lost. I do not always hate people who differ with me politically but Deputy President William Ruto has always gone overboard by abusing Raila. In his four-year rule, Uhuru has been careful when it comes to direct attack on Raila until recently, having been influenced by Ruto.

Irrespective of party or ideological differences, all that is politics. Whenever there are polical rallies, I advise Kenyans to attend, listen to what the leaders are saying and just go home and wait for August 8. Heckling and violence are unnecessary and will go a long way in setting a bad trend in coming days. Let's maintain peace.

Only one matter here is rather odd. Is setting up a brewery a plus? In my opinion, the new beer plant in Nyanza may create hundreds of drunks for every one job it creates. I prefer if the State had approached investors to open a soft drinks bottling plant. The days when a brewery was the top taxpayer are long gone.

This heckling on tribal bases is primitive! I hope Kenyans are praying for peace during and after the August 8 elections. We should not forget the killings that happened as a result of the 2007 post-election violence.
