Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has issued a one-week ultimatum to public officers engaging in premature political campaigns to resign and pursue their political ambitions or face the axe.

Addressing the media at the county headquarters, Lusaka said early campaigns by public workers undermine service delivery, urging those interested in politics to either quit in one week or focus fully on serving the people.
