The 2024 edition of Mater Heart Run has been launched. The event, which seeks to raise funds for supporting children with cardiac complications across Kenya, is expected to raise 120 Million Shillings.
Speaking during a breakfast launch with sponsors at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Nairobi, the facility's CEO, Sr. Dr. Mary Ngui, said the turnout from partners was beyond expectation. She also added that such efforts reaffirm the belief in the power of compassion and collective action.
