SCHOOLS: Shimba Hills and Kaya Tiwi call shots at sub county games

Shimba Hills and Kaya Tiwi schools gave strong warning to their rivals after they won football titles during their respective sub county Term Two games.
Enjoying home support, Shimba Hills, however, laboured before edging out Mkongani 1-0 in a closely fought final.
Their girls' team, however, had a field day after they hit Lukore 5-1.
At Kwale Seminary and Kwale High School, Kaya Tiwi boys squeezed a 4-2 win over Waa Boys in post-match penalties after a scoreless draw at regulation time.
Kaya Tiwi defeated Kwale High 1-0, while Waa edged out Kombani 2-1 in the semifinals.

In girls' football, Kombani hit Mwanambeyu 1-0 to retain the title. All the finalists qualified for the Kwale county games to be played later this month.
In Mswambeni, Ramisi beat Madago 2-0 in boys' football final, while Mvindeni beat Kingwende 3-1 in the girls' match.
In Changamwe, Bomu surrendered the girls' football title after they lost 2-1 to Kajembe in the final.
Miritini Complex who beat St Charles Lwanga 4-2 on penalties to win the boys' title.
In Kisauni/Nyali, Khadija School defeated Marimani 6-0 in boys' final, while Hassan Joho School defeated Mwakirunge 2-1 to win the girls' title.
Mbele beat Voi Boys 3-0 to lift the title in Voi sub county. Kajire edged out Mwakitawa 3-1 in the girls' final.
Timbila won both boys football and rugby titles during the Taveta sub county games. In football, Timbila beat Sowene 5-3 on penalties.
In rugby, Timbila won all their matches on an unbeaten record to bag 10 points and lift the title.
