Twin brothers are in court after beating a woman for allegedly spending a whole night at church.
Dancun Owago and George Owago were charged for assaulting Samantha Owino on December 1 at their residence in Nairobi's Mathare Kosovo
Samantha is Duncan's wife.
According to court particulars, Samantha had informed her husband that she would be spending the entire night at the church since there was a night vigil that visitors were expected to attend as they ushered in the new month.
Dancun is said to have given the wife the green light to attend the night vigil. The following morning, the husband, who was working on the night shift, called Samantha to confirm her whereabouts and the complainant informed him that she was leaving the church.

Upon arriving at her house, she met her husband and his brother George waiting for her. George asked where she had been the whole night and Samantha politely informed the two that there were many visitors she was ushering in.
This seemed to have rubbed them the wrong way. They have since been released on a cash bail of Sh10,000 pending hearing on August 2, next year.
