Migori police investigate killing of businessman

Police in Migori County are investigating an incident where a businessman was killed at his shop in Nyabohanse area in Kuria West Sub-County.
Kuria West Sub-County Police Commander Reuben Bett said they are pursuing culprits involved in the incident.
"We are following leads that may lead to arrest," Bett said.
The trader is said to have been at his shop before he was attacked by unknown people.

According to the Kuria West police boss, the businessman was hit by a blunt object by his attackers who then fled on a motorcycle.
Nothing was stolen from the businessman during the attack.
"We will follow the matter to its root to establish why the businessman was killed and bring his killers to book," Bett said.
Residents have since called on police to heighten patrols in the area to help minimize cases of insecurity.
