DPP approves murder charges against Central Police OCS Talaam among others

The Director of Public Prosecutions Renson Ingonga, has approved murder charges against six suspects linked to the murder of blogger and teacher Albert Ojwang.
Among those to face the murder charges is the OCS Central Police Station, Samsom Talaam.
"Consequently, the DPP has approved the murder charges against the following police officers: Samson Talaam, James Mukhwana, Peter Kimani, John Gitau, Giobn Abwao, and Brian Njue.
In a press statement released on Monday afternoon, the DPP stated that the six will be arraigned before the Kibera Law Courts on 23rd June to face the charges.
"They will face the murder charges contrary to Section 204 of the Penal Code, Cap. 63 of the Laws of Kenya," he stated.
