The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested a suspect linked to the brutal murder of Wells Fargo HR manager, Willis Ayieko.
The suspect identified as Victor Ouma was apprehended in Nairobi's Dandora Phase IV estate on Monday night, after being tracked for several days.
He is currently detained at Muthaiga Police Station.
"The suspect, held at Muthaiga Police Station, was placed at the crime scene through forensic analysis," the DCI said, noting that the investigation is being conducted by a joint team from the Homicide, CRIB, and Operations units.
Detectives believe the suspect had rented a residence using proceeds from the crime.

Ayieko, who went missing on Friday, October 21, was found dead in Gem, Siaya County, a week later.
His body was discovered near a stream, handcuffed, days after he was last seen attending a funeral in the area.
"Given the nature of the incident and how Ayieko’s body was found, we are treating this as a possible homicide. We will not rest until we get to the bottom of this," said Siaya Sub-County Police Commander Charles Wafula.
