Standard Group Video Editor Justus Macharia was on Tuesday arrested by police quelling demonstrations against the Finance Bill 2024.
Macharia was working alongside other journalists before an officer pounced on him claiming that the video editor was filming him.
The police then dragged Macharia to a police car.
When other journalists tried to explain that Macharia was a journalist, the officers allegedly pushed him out of the moving car.
Macharia consequently hit the tarmac and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
