National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has convened a Special sitting on Monday at 2 pm.
The sitting is to consider a report by a select committee on the impeachment of Agriculture CS Muthika Linturi.
"I have appointed Monday, 13th May 2024 at 2.30 p.m. as the day and time for a Special Sitting of the House to receive the report of the said Select Committee;" Wetangula said.
This comes days after MPs unanimously voted for a committee to investigate allegations tabled against CS Linturi and report back the findings to the House.
An 11-member committee was then formed to investigate the proposed impeachment motion against the Cabinet Secretary.
