The Government has committed to sending daily alerts to inform Kenyans of potential floods in different parts of the country.
Briefing on the country's Emergency multi-agency response on Thursday, April 25, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said the move will help alarm the public and prevent calamities caused by flash floods.
"Daily alerts will be issued to Kenyans to inform them of what is happening in areas where there is danger," said Gachagua.
Additionally, a multi-agency center has been activated to monitor the flooding situation in the country.
