Lawyer-turned-activist Morara Kebaso has been arrested again by individuals believed to be police officers.
Kebaso confirmed his arrest on X, saying that he is being held at Lang'ata Police Station.
"I have been arrested over what happened at Bomas. Can you imagine? Does it even make sense? What is this now?" he wrote.
Pareno Solonka, an X user, confirmed the arrest, sharing a video of a Subaru vehicle reportedly transporting Kebaso to an unknown location.
Solonka later updated, "The vehicle has gone to Lang'ata Police Station. Morara is at Lang'ata Police Station."

On Sunday, October 6, the activist called on Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and the Director of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin to arrest those who attacked and injured him at the Bomas of Kenya during the public participation exercise on the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
“The IG and your team, where are those people who attacked Kebaso before the media? Can we see them being arraigned in court? That is our request,” he said.
Kebaso was assaulted after entering the Bomas auditorium, with unknown individuals throwing chairs at him. He was later taken to the hospital and subsequently discharged.
He was on Friday freed on cyber harassment charges after Court found the charges against him defective.
