Motorists plying Mombasa Road to the Central Business District have been advised to seek alternative routes, owing to traffic snarl-up on the busy highway.
The Standard has established that a truck stalled near Gateway Mall in Syokimau, resulting in heavy traffic build-up.
As a result, the Nairobi Expressway inbound has been closed at Mlolongo.
"Mlolongo Nairobi Expressway closed causing heavy traffic jams this morning 6th July. Please be warned," wrote Radio presenter Fred Machoka on X.
