National Museums of Kenya hosts 9th International Cultural Festival

The National Museums of Kenya (NMK) on Saturday hosted its 9th edition of the Nairobi International Cultural Festival.
Launched in 2013, the Nairobi International Cultural Festival has become one of the outstanding and popular international cultural occasions in Nairobi with over 20 Embassies, High Commissions, NGOs and Sponsors participating.
The festival aims to foster mutual understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity, promoting unity and global cooperation through the arts.
It was a spectacular celebration of global cultures. The festival featured an array of cultural performances, exhibitions, and workshops, showcasing the rich and diverse heritage from around the world.
Under the theme of ‘The World at a Glance’, the festival featured traditional music, dance, and storytelling from various cultures, Arts, crafts, and artifacts representing global heritage, Interactive sessions on traditional crafts, cooking, and dance and culinary delights from different countries.
